You-Gan Wang received the Ph.D. degree in statistics from Oxford University, Oxford, U.K., in 1991. He is currently Honorary Professor of School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland, Australia. Before that, he worked for CSIRO, National University of Singapore , Harvard University, University of Queensland, and Queensland University of Technology(QUT).
Professor Woo holds the position of Chair in Machine Learning at Northumbria University, UK. Additionally, he serves as the Head of Research for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. He was previously the Director of Research for Newcastle Research and Innovation Institute, and Director of Operations of Newcastle University. Dr. Woo is a Fellow of the Institution Engineering Technology (IET) and Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE). His primary research revolves around the development of mathematical theories and algorithms for data science, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and intelligent Internet of Things (IoT).
Professor Cheng Siong Chin is Chair Professor of Intelligent Systems Modelling and Simulation at Newcastle University in Singapore and one of the Editors-in-Chief (EiC) for Cybernetics and Systems. He presents a good track record, featuring an extensive collection of more than 170 publications. His professional standing is underpinned by several esteemed distinctions, including his role as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of IMarEST, a Senior Member of IEEE, and his expertise as a Specialist Adult Educator specializing in engineering curriculum development.
Professor Yang YUE received the Ph.D. degree at University of Southern California. He is currently professsor at the School of Information and Communication Engineering with Xi'an Jiaotong University. Prof Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE/Optica, a selected candidate of the National Young Talent Program, and the founder and current PI of the Intelligent Photonics Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab).
Dr. Tan is currently with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received the M.A and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. His research interests are networks, distributed optimization, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI for Health-Tech. He serves or has served as an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer, an Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking and the IEEE Transactions on Communications.
Dr. Chen currently works as a professor with the School of Data and Computer Science, Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University, China. He received the engineer and PhD degrees in computer science from Télécom ParisTech (ENST). He was an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science at University of Paris-Sud from 2009 to 2019 and a visiting scholar at National ICT Center of Australia (NICTA) in 2008. His main research interests include modeling and control for wireless networks, algorithm design, and analysis in networked systems.
Fang Juan is currently a full professor and the Deputy Dean of the Beijing Institute of Smart City of Beijing University of Technology. She is mainly engaged in theoretical and applied research work in high-performance computing, edge computing, and big data processing technology. She has published more than 100 research papers on international major journals and important international academic conferences. Among them, more than 80 articles were cited by SCI and EI. She also has 20 national invention patents, 34 software copyrights, 11 textbooks, 3 national standards and 1 patent transformation.
Dr. Ankush Ghosh is Vice-President at ADSRS Education and Research Foundation, India and Adjunct Professor at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. He is a Fellow of IETE and Senior member of IEEE. He was a research fellow of the Advanced Technology Cell- DRDO, Govt. of India. He has received award for contributing in Innovate India from AICTE- DST, Govt. of India in 2019 and 2020.
Dr. Liu is an Assistant Professor at the Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) Pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His research works are published in many conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, and ECCV (H-index 41 by Google Scholar). He is also an organizer of international workshops. He was the Area Chair of ICML/NeurIPS (2022–2023), ICLR (2022–2024), IJCAI 2023, and CVPR 2024.
Dr. Junchao Wang is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Microelectronics and Communication Engineering, Chongqing University, China. His research interests include Body Area Network, stochastic computing, low power VLSI, and CNFET. He has completed the design and successfully taped the world's first IEEE 802.15.6 wireless body area network standard security communication chip. He has long served as a reviewer for academic journals such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I, and Multimedia Tools and Applications.
Dr. Zhao Zhenbing is currently a professor and deputy director with North China Electric Power University. He is also a member of the China Computer Federation (CCF), an editorial board member of IEEE TIM, and the deputy secretary-general of the CES Energy Intelligence Committee. He has authored two monographs as the first author and published over 50 SCI or EI indexed papers in authoritative domestic and international journals or conferences such as IEEE TDEI and TIM. Dr. Zhao has long been engaged in the research of electric power artificial intelligence technology, and his current main research directions include electric power vision, machine learning, knowledge representation and reasoning, among others.
Dr. Fan is currently a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His main research interests include B5G technology in wireless communications, such as MIMO, OFDMA, network coding, network information theory, and machine learning and big data analysis.
Dr. Razi is currently an Associate Professor of computer science with Clemson University, USA. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. He held two postdoctoral positions in the field of machine learning and predictive modeling at Duke University, from 2013 to 2014, and Case Western Reserve University, from 2014 to 2015. His current research interests include smart connected vehicles, driving safety analysis, wireless networking, the Internet of Things, and predictive modeling.
Dr. Zhao currently works as a professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. His current research interests include adaptive filtering algorithm, adaptive network, information theoretical learning, and nonlinear system identification. At present, he is the author or coauthor of more than 140 international journal papers (SCI indexed), and the owner of 70 invention patents. He has served as an active reviewer for several IEEE Transactions, IET series, Signal Processing, and other international journals. And he was a handling editor of Signal Processing.
Dr. Wang is currently a professor and head of the AI Research Institute at China University of Mining and Technology. His working areas include machine learning, data mining, and Deep Stochastic Configuration Networks for data analytics in process industries. Dr Wang is a Senior Member of IEEE, and currently an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Information Sciences, Artificial Intelligence Review.
Dr. Guan is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is the presenter of systematic similarity measurement theory and (co-)author of more than sixty journal or proceeding papers and a book. His research interests include intelligent information retrieval, web mining, natural language processing, and cognitive linguistics. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Member of AAAS, ACM, Senior Member of CCF, Member of CAA.
Dr. Pu is currently a Full Professor with the College of Computer Science, Sichuan University, China. He has authored about 20 articles indexed by SCI in journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Image Processing and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems—I: Regular Papers. He focuses on the application of fractional calculus and fractional partial differential equation to image processing, circuits and systems, and machine intelligence.
